• The sidebar is now expandable! Hover over the sidebar's edge and drag to expand. Double click the edge to reset back to default width.
• Mini Player can now be turned off more easily. Just click on the three dots in the corner of the Mini Player to disable it for the day or indefinitely for that site. You can turn Mini Player back on by clicking the lock icon in the URL bar of any site to change its settings.

• Watch videos while you browse! Arc now has a Mini Player. If you’re on a tab that's playing video, we'll keep that video playing in the corner of your window as you switch tabs. If you want to turn off the Mini Player for that tab, just deselect Picture in Picture in site settings (site settings can be accessed via the small lock next to your site’s URL).
• We’ve updated the visuals for Resetting a Pinned Tab. Now you can reset a Pinned Tab by clicking its icon. We've also made it more clear when you’ve navigated away from your originally pinned URL.
• New Notes will now be pinned by default. This way they’re easier to access and harder to close.

• Tab Syncing Across Devices! Go to Arc > Preferences (or CMD E... Preferences) and turn on "Keep Sidebar in sync via iCloud". This will sync all of your sidebar tabs (explore & pinned) but wont sync passwords / browsing history. Your sidebar will sync to the state of the last device you used.
• You can now turn off Tab Previews that you don't use or need. You can do this through Arc > Preferences (or CMD E... Preferences).
• Rip a tab off the sidebar to move it to a new window! Just drag a tab out of the current Arc window and we'll create a new window for you.

• Incognito mode! Hit CMD E … New Incognito Window (or CMD SHIFT N). Incognito windows do not track any browsing history or let you access any of your spaces. Incognito windows are black and have an "Incognito" label in the upper right hand corner.
• Notes are much faster, 100% native, and have a fresh coat of paint. Oh, and they support markdown! You can still access notes you've created before, but they wont be editable anymore. If you’d like to keep working on them, copy and paste them over into a new note.

• Support for undoing an action via Command+z! Any time you customize a List or Tab, move Tabs in your sidebar or clear your Explore section, simply press Command+z to undo that action.
• Lists can now have background images! We've packaged a few that look great, but you can also add your own. Simply right-click the list, select Theme, and go from there.
• We made it easier to dive into a List! Click anywhere on the list title to enter. If you'd rather expand or collapse the list inline, click the ">" icon.

• The bottom "unpinned" section is now directly below your Pinned tabs so they are easier to access. We're now calling this unpinned section "Explore".

• Speaking of the Command Bar — we’ve removed those pesky Recent Tabs at the top of the window, and moved them into the Command Bar. The keyboard shortcuts for these (ctrl+tab & ctrl+shift+tab) still work.
• The Split View has been rewritten from the ground up, allowing for a more interactive experience when dragging tabs to Split View panes. Pro tip: try dragging a link on a page to a new pane 🔥

• New narrow sidebar! Simply hover over the edge of the sidebar and drag to narrow. Double click the edge of the sidebar to reset back to standard width.

• Google Meet PiP! Navigating away from your Google Meet tab will automatically enable Picture in Picture (PiP) so you can continue to view your meeting as you browse! Turn off PiP anytime in Site Settings in the URL Bar.
• Introducing "Paste URL as New Tab"! When you copy a URL, you can now hit CMD T and type "Paste URL as New Tab" to open a new tab from your clipboard. You can also right click on a Folder to Paste the URL as New Tab within the Folder.
• We've brought back the ability to mute any tab by right-clicking on the tab (even if it's not actively playing audio).

• Introducing Boost Shuffle! Hit the paint brush icon in the URL at the top of your Sidebar to start editing any webpage. If you want some inspo, click the dropdown near your Boost’s name and select “Shuffle”. Keep your Boost as is, or edit to make it just right. Then hit share! 
• To share a Boost quickly, CMD T and type “Share Boost” on any Boosted site.
• If you have a redundant ad blocker extension, you’ll now be prompted to remove it. Getting rid of extra extensions will speed up Arc significantly! 
• We now only show the Edit button for your Space if you’re hovered over the Space Title.

• Introducing Boosts V2. Edit the internet, without a single line of code. Hit CMD T then type “Boost” to edit your current site! You can turn your boost on or off anytime in the address bar at the top of the sidebar. Your v1 Boosts can still be edited from the Extensions menu, and you can access the old editor by hitting CMD T and typing “New Legacy Boost.
• You can now search and perform any Arc action by hitting TAB in the command bar. Try hitting [TAB] then typing “split” to get a feel for it!
• Introducing a new preview for Confluence! Hover over pinned Confluence tabs to view and navigate to recent Confluence pages.

• We've improved the experience of translating a page! If you visit a site that's not in one of your preferred languages, you'll now be able to easily translate and un-translate at your convenience, right in the address bar.

• Support for Vivaldi and Opera import! Bring in your history, cookies, passwords, autocomplete payment info, and bookmarks by heading to Arc > Import From Another Browser.

• Introducing Peek! Peek is a convenient way to preview sites from Pinned Tabs. Simply click on a new link from a Pinned or Favorited Tab, and Arc will automatically open that tab in Peek! Learn more by viewing the Peek Article via Help > Visit Help Center.

• A New Loading Indicator! To see the loading progress of your webpage, direct your eyes to the top center of the Arc window for our new animation. We appreciate all the folks who requested this – can't wait to hear what you think!

• Introducing Vertical Split View! You can now stack sites on top of each other (in addition to side by side!). Hit CMD T and type "Add Vertical Spit" or drag a tab from your sidebar to the top / bottom center of your screen.
• Smarter loading for Favorites. We used to keep your Favorites loaded at all times, but now we only load them if they've been used recently. This should keep things speedy without the extra resource consumption!
• Imported Bookmark Folders now have Folder Previews. Simply hover over the magnifying glass on a Folder and search within the Preview for a tab.
• Downloads from Arc now use macOS Gatekeeper to warn against potentially malicious files.
